Craft and objects

Asides from Architecture, from time to time we will explore the making of smaller objects, testing materiality and methods of making. This is a small collection of some of these projects.

Brochure wall for a reception

  • Location: The Architectural Association, London (UK)
  • Year: 2012
  • Type: Object design
  • Material: Laser cut acrylic and magnets
  • Background: The architectural association produces a large amount of brochures, postcards and other publications. A need arose for a way to flexibly present these in the school reception. Our response was a ‘system-wall’ with a flexible hanging system allowing for everyday variety of quantity and layout of the publications.
